Massage Therapy
|
Massage therapy is
available from Heidi Windel, an Internationally
Certified Massage Therapist for 15 years. She has
training in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and
Theory and Practice of Massage and deep tissue
therapy. Working with MD's and Chiropractors,
Heidi is able to apply massage therapy to help
with the treatment of head, neck, shoulder and
lower back injury. She also offers stress
management and relaxation massage, which she feels
is an important aspect of maintaining overall well
being. Therapeutic Massage is the stroking,
kneading and manipulation of muscles and
connective tissue to relieve muscle tension, and
is very pleasurable and soothing.. It aids in deep
relaxation, improves circulation and body tone,
releases toxins and assists cellular nutrition.
Massage releases the bodies own pain killers -
called endorphins - which soothe and tranquilize
the central nervous system. A pleasantly scented
oil is used to eliminate friction. Rates are
$75.00 for one hour and $40.00 for half hour. |
